The radiant swamp pig, so named due to their brightly colored communication appendages, is known for lazing about in the shallows in small groups. Minimal effort is the name of the game and their bright red flotation sacs allow them to float effortlessly for hours while they munch vegetation.

They chill in the water so long that plants end up growing into the coarse fur on their backs. This makes them nearly invisible, until you startle one and then there is a frenzy of bright blue and yellow appendages swishing around. This is used to confuse would be predators and warn the other swamp pigs.
