Simply put—Astra Fauna is one of the more unique and creative publications that I’ve ever come across. The format is clever and draws you right in. The characters that we’re introduced to are cool as hell, and their observations are insightful and fun! But it’s Sarah’s creations, the fauna, that really shine! What a pleasure it is to find such a detailed, interesting collection of creatures to enjoy! This volume radiates love of creation, every page oozing with the heart that its artist poured into it. Without giving too much away, let me simply say that Astra Fauna is a spectacular example of what art should be, can be, when nurtured with the hard work and inspiration of the artist. Whether you’re a fan of science fiction, creature creation, beautiful renders of curious life forms or simply enjoy a colorful and amazing collection of splendid art, this wonderful presentation of Sarah Dahlinger’s talents is an amazing journey of discovery that I’m grateful to have been invited to share. Sarah's Astra Fauna is fantastic for all ages and really brings you into the worlds she is building! It's like one of those first-class nature documentaries but with more alien teeth! If you are a fan of art, animals, xenomorphology, and creators delivering their passion project in a big way, this is a must-have for your bookshelf.

I was trying to find something for my 11 year old grandson that he and his friends would consider very cool, and Astra Fauna was just the ticket! My grandson loved, and asked me, “Nana, how was that artwork done?” I told him, “Creativity, vision, hard work, and lots of skill and patience!"
